Rewind Networks and LYD today announced a strategic partnership to expand the HITS franchise in Korea. The announcement was made during the opening day of the 2019 Asia-Pacific Video Operators Summit (APOS).
The partnership aims to launch and grow Rewind’s HITS brand franchise, anchored by its core proposition of “The Best TV. All in One Place” – in Korea. LYD will oversee areas such as distribution, localization, marketing and advertising sales of the HITS channel, with the possibility of a dedicated Korean feed. The two companies will also explore opportunities to bring classic Korean content to global audiences.

HITS is Rewind Networks’ maiden venture launched in 2013 as a linear 24x7 pan-regional pay-TV service. Through its core proposition of “The Best TV. All In One Place” – HITS features a curated selection of the greatest Hollywood television drama and comedy series from the past few decades in High Definition. Key titles on HITS include Little House on the Prairie, The Nanny and Baywatch.
